the best work from home advice

“And this will be your cubical. I’ll give you a second to settle in.”

My new boss had just given me the ‘grand tour’ of the stuffy four walls I had thought that I desperately wanted to work inside of. A room full of cubes. Ha! I’ll never forget how hideous those things were or how suffocating it felt sitting inside of them.

I lasted three weeks.

Looking back, I’m impressed I toughed it out that long.

As a recent college-grad trying to find her place in the world (and a way to put her new degree to use while earning an income), I didn’t know a lot about the real-world work force. But one thing I knew for CERTAIN was that the 9-5 office life was not for me. I knew it in my soul. I had seen all I needed to see.

I never wanted to ‘settle in.’

After those three weeks, I lucked into an assistant position at a local travel agency. Call it fate, but that job was the one that launched me onto the entrepreneurial path I’ve been on ever since.

That new position was a hybrid between remote work and working alongside my new boss — and quickly absorbed into a fully remote position shortly after that. And wanting to ensure I kept out of ever (ever) stepping foot back in a cubical, I wanted to become the very best at working from home I knew to be.

Maybe your office job transitioned into a work from home situation in the post-pandemic world. Or maybe you’re a recent grad who dove head first into a remote position after graduation. OR maybe you’ve just started your own business, and you’re officially your own boss working from home.

Whatever it may be from your side of the screen — in case you want to fast-track your way to absolutely thriving in the work from home life — I created this guide for you. Drop your email and have it sent straight to your inbox. I know you’ll love it!
