And other times, we didn’t think to make any plans in the first place, and we wake up one day wondering, “How did I get here?”
Believe me, I’ve found myself facing these same realizations in the mirror a time or two.
I was once the college graduate …
who took the first mesley carrot of a job dangled in front of her, telling herself she was happy to follow it down the rabbit hole where it led to a stuffy office cubicle.
But once I realized I wasn’t meant to be in those four walls, I found my way out quick and happily, never looked back.
That’s when I became a master of goal setting, plan making, and setting strategy in motion — which served me well while walking into the world of entrepreneurship.
Then, I was the young entrepreneur…
who climbed an impressive mountain in record time.
But it was from the top of its peak where I was able to see clearly that I’d climbed the wrong mountain.
How did this happen?
Before I knew it, I was the lost twenty-something…
who had to stumble her way back down the mountain she’d worked so hard to climb.
I found myself with shaking hands, signing the closing documents for the sale agreement of the company I built from the ground up. And when the business I loved was sold, I was left feeling lost and confused about what was ‘next.’
After fighting against it for a while, I ultimately found rest and learned to understand her innate teachings before becoming ready to forge a new path.
And that is when I started living out my own Brand of Beautiful…
Because when you stop being busy (even for a season) and when you learn the art of quieting the world’s noise to hear your own inner wisdom — that’s when you start being you.
That’s when you become your own Brand of Beautiful.
Each morning I’m up before the rest of my house — journaling and soaking up some time in God’s word.
I have the gift of spending my days as a mom to two kids who I cherish with my whole heart!
My college sweetheart is now my husband. After over a decade together, he’s still my favorite person ever.
Homemaking brings me joy. I make my bed every morning and love to clean and organize. Most of my money goes towards home decor and my extra time towards making our home a place my family loves to be.
Candles burning and snuggling up on the couch with my kindle? Say less. I also exercise nearly every day and love being outside and active.
I’m intentionally not very present on social media — but you can still find me over on Instagram! Despite the pressure to be constantly cranking out content in my industry, I know I’m better off spending most of my time offline than online.
Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, and Georgia are all states we’ve lived — so yes, we know a thing or two about moving and all that comes with it!
We’ve most recently put down roots in a place we romanize because of her historic cobblestone streets, beaches, and low country sunsets. I think we may call her home for a while!
And I can’t forget, I’m a keynote speaker + workshop facilitator, a podcast host, and a published writer for women like you.
Helping you to stop being busy, quiet the noise, and start being you.
Helping you to start living a life that’s innately beautiful to you.
Helping you to Become
Your Own Brand of Beautiful.
Because personally?
I believe collegiate women…
…could walk their graduation stage with the type of confidence women who have gone before them could only dream of.
Let’s work together and help them to enter into the real world with a fully baked vision, intentional plan, and strategy for the life at their fingertips – rather than letting them flounder in the post-grad deep waters.
I believe young professionals…
…could unlock a new level of excitement inside of the work they’re dedicated to and re-inspire their everyday habits.
Let’s work together and help them break mindless motion cycles, revitalize goals and ambitions, and head towards a place where their professional and personal lives act synergistically – so that everyone wins.
I believe mompreneurs…
…could break free from feeling trapped between motherhood and their financial contribution to the household economy.
Let’s work together and help them turn off the auto-pilot set to a reckless speed and begin to mindfully cherish the precious days they’re living in, all while effectively chasing their goals.
